I just matriculated to RISD Friday morning.
So it's official.
I'm part of the class of 2012 @ Rhode Island School of Design.

I got into
Ringling
School of Visual Arts
Parsons The New School for Design
Cornell University
Pratt Institute
Maryland Institute College of Art
but I'm going to RISD and I couldn't be happier.

They gave me the most scholarship money too O__o; (which seems a bit unheard of).

But I can't wait for the 24th + the summer (my last day is on April 30th) + this coming fall.

GAH. Too excited. Can't breathe.

ZOMFGGGGG I was accepted.
I have no idea how I was alerted so quickly.
I called to check the status of my application since they said that it was incomplete before, and the admission rep told me that I was accepted.

They printed out my letter on Monday, and are in the process of sending it out now. I didn't think I'd get a response so quickly, especially since I just mailed out my application on the 8th.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH~
I'm so happy and excited.
Ringling was definitely one of my top choices.
The curriculum just seems so perfect for the career I want to pursue.
(Not to mention they have the #1 Computer animation/game art and design major in the nation....but if I go I'll major in illustration+minor in visual development (ie concept art))

Alot of the times Sequential Comic book art bores me, but every once in a while I find an artist that completely transcends my expectations.

-I have a purrrrrty nice self portrait I did in oils
-But my camera is broken (gone just like my Creative Zen Vision M ).
-College deadlines are creeping up, closer @__@ and closer.
-I think I have an idea for the Parsons Challenge + my RISD sample drawings.
-I need to do some laundry
-It's snowing
-Retreats = funnnnn
